2011 Has Been a Blast So Far!

OUR FIRST BLOGSPOT POST!! We decided to create this blog so we can document our SVL/5linx activities and see how we grow as an organization. We've had so many memories, some good, some bad, but always a learning experience in any Multi Level Marketing business. This business isn't just about making money;it's truly about personal development. Learning how to speak in front a room of a few hundred (some of us never thought we would be doing that!), meeting people from all walks of life from all over the world, finding a way out from our current situation, and mainly knowing our  self worth. We hope to update this blog as much as we can, with small and major tidbits from our expanding Silicon Valley expansion team!!


Wow, we can't believe how quickly this year has gone by! As a 5linx team and a business, we made a pact that 2011 would be the best one yet, and we were not kidding ourselves:

• January Nationals in Fort Lauderdale was perhaps the best one yet. For some of us, this was our fifth/sixth National, and by far this one was the most rewarding. Besides enjoying the 75 degree weather in January, we learned more than we ever could imagine. Though it seems that we have just grown so much as an organization, and as people. 

• We've gained a new found respect for the term "work" and "relationships." Putting petty differences aside and learning to pick our battles is imperative in this business. We must always remember, while we are business partners, we are FAMILY first. Would we call our 5linx family to bail us out of a situation? YOU BET!!

• Time is on our side!! Our wonderful business partner, Vinh Le, who is also Madric Lindsay's manager at their job, was kind enough to let Madric go in place of him to Nationals so he could cover for him at work. It was a very busy time for them as they had a HUGE project on their hands in January. During Nationals, Vinh met our newest RED business partner, Rafael Perez (who was working contract at their company during the big project), and he has been a huge blessing to the SVL team. If Vinh had gone to Nationals, we would have never met Rafael. As they say- Timing and Positioning are the KEYS TO SUCCESS!! You never know who you may run across and who may inspire you in your business.

• We hosted our first Training at the San Jose office on February 26th, and what an inspiring and informative day it was for everyone. We all went to the front of the room and said our "WHYs" for being in this business. We've always been taught one thing- your WHY should be big enough to make you CRY. You can guess how the day went, and we were all empowered by each other's presence. 5linx has truly been a blessing for us, because if not this, THEN WHAT??

There are so many more things in store for us, we can't wait to share it with everyone!!! REGIONALS is in two days, and what a day that will be! STAY TUNED....
